Inês Tello R. M. Rodrigues is a Speech and Language Therapist with a Master´s in Language Pathology and a PhD in Cognitive Neurosciences. She is a collaborator of ciTechCare – Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology.

She works as a clinician with adults with aphasia, especially with patients with severe output deficits. Her intervention is centered on functional-based programs with great emphasis on supported conversation and accessible communication. She has published in several scientific national and international journals. Her current research focuses on aging and language recovery processes in chronic aphasia, more specifically the neuronal language circuits and their recovery with evidence by neuroimaging support. She is also interested in research on palliative care for people with severe communication difficulties.

She is a lecturer in ESSAlcoitão and a member of a number of professional and scientific organizations.
