Jaime Ribeiro

Jaime Ribeiro has a PhD and a specialisation in Multimedia in Education from the University of Aveiro, and a degree in Occupational Therapy from the Porto School of Health Technology. He is a Professor at the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic of Leiria. He is an effective member of the Portuguese Society of Rehabilitation Engineering, Assistive Technologies and Accessibility (SUPERA). He is a member of the Centre for Innovative Care and Health Technology at the Polytechnic of Leiria (CiTechCare) and collaborates with the Research Centre “Didactics and Technology in the Training of Trainers” at the University of Aveiro (CIDTFF-UA). His teaching and research focus on qualitative research, rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation/stimulation, functionality/disability, training of professionals, Functional Diversity, assistive technologies/products, use of technologies in teaching and learning processes and ageing. He integrates national and European projects related to Rehabilitation and Education.
