Research

The aTOPlab aims at producing knowledge that better serves the capacities and needs of the person with functional diversity. The research axes focus on the evaluation, development and validation of interventions of and with support products, for the promotion of occupational performance and autonomy of any person with some kind of functional limitation.

Accessibility and usability evaluation are part of its user-centred design approach, as well as scientific support to product development by third parties.

With special interest comes prototyping using additive and subtractive digital fabrication.
