She has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Aveiro, a Master’s degree and a degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. She holds a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health and an advanced postgraduate training course in Neuropsychology. She is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Health of the Polytechnic of Leiria. She is a collaborating member of the Centre for Innovative Care and Health Technology (ciTechCare). She is an effective member of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists. She is a member of the Núcleo Académico de Psicologia – Rede Académica das Ciências da Saúde da Lusofonia.
