She has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Aveiro, a Master’s degree and a degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. She holds a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health and an advanced postgraduate training course in Neuropsychology. She is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Health of the University of Leiria and Oeste. She is a collaborating member of the Centre for Innovative Care and Health Technology (ciTechCare). She is an effective member of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists. She is a member of the Psychology Academic Centre – Lusophone Health Sciences Academic Network.
