Daniel Freitas
Daniel Freitas works as a consultant at the Altice Foundation, where he develops and coordinates technological projects as part of the Altice Portugal group’s area of social responsibility.
The projects he coordinates promote the use of Information and Communication technologies to benefit the social, educational and professional inclusion of disadvantaged or highly vulnerable populations, particularly people with motor and sensory disabilities.
He has a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. His area of interest is the study and improvement of Human-Computer Interaction applied to assistive technologies, technologies for education and combating the info-exclusion of people with disabilities.
