José Filipe Antunes has a degree in Occupational Therapy from the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde do Porto, and various specialised/advanced training courses in the areas of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Support Products, Gerontology and Palliative Care. Throughout her career she has participated in a number of publications in the above areas.
Her interests are focused on medical devices – support products from a research perspective (study, design, development, application, production), and from a business perspective in the health industry.
He currently works as an Occupational Therapist, Training Manager, Hospital Area Manager and in the Rehabilitation Department at Gameiros Material Clínico. He also works as a Guest Lecturer at the Escola Superior de Saúde – Instituto Politécnico de Leiria as a Guest Lecturer.
