Inês Tello R. M. Rodrigues is a Speech Therapist with a Master’s Degree in Language Pathology and a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience. She is a collaborator at ciTechCare – Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology.

She works clinically with adults with aphasia, especially with patients with severe production deficits. Her intervention focuses on functional programs with a strong emphasis on supported conversation and accessible communication. She has published in several national and international scientific journals. Her current research focuses on the processes of aging and language recovery in chronic aphasia, more specifically on neural language circuits and their recovery, supported by neuroimaging evidence. She is also interested in research on palliative care for people with severe communication difficulties.

She is a professor at ESSAlcoitão and a member of several professional and scientific organizations.
