Luís Montez Vicente
Luís Montez Vicente is a senior technician at aTOPlab – Assistive Technology and Occupational Performance Laboratory at the School of Health Sciences and a collaborating researcher at ciTechCare – Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology at the University of Leiria and Oeste. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Education at the University of Salamanca. He holds a master’s degree, with specialized training and postgraduate studies in Special Education in the Cognitive-Motor Domain.
From the 2011/2012 to 2013/2014 academic years, he was hired as a Guest Assistant Professor by the School of Education and Social Sciences at the former Polytechnic of Leiria.
He is a member of the Organizing Committee of INCLUDiT – International Conference for Inclusion and CITecA – International Conference on Assistive Technologies and Accessibility.
He received the Social and Human Sciences Award – 2021, for his work “Social Inclusion: Assessment of Accessibility in Social Facilities. A Case Study,” as part of his master’s degree, an award given by the Ministry of Labor, Solidarity, and Social Security and the Institute for the Rights of People with Disabilities, I.P., IDiPD.
