Marco Rodrigues

Graduated in Occupational Therapy from the Alcoitão School of Health Sciences in 2009; Master in Occupational Therapy – Specialization in Sensory Integration from Alcoitão School of Health Sciences in 2013; Postgraduate in Reeducation of the Upper Limb and Hand from the Egas Moniz School of Health and Science in 2014; Specialist in Therapy and Rehabilitation: area of Occupational Therapy since 2024.
Among other things, has more than 13 years professional experience in a hospital setting at West Hospital Center in Portugal, with approaches essentially focused on the rehabilitation of patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, of all age groups. Approved member of the Occupational Therapy Europe Register of Experts (a group promoted by the Council of Occupational Therapists for European Countries – COTEC) in the areas of children and adolescents, neurology and rehabilitation. Portugal’s alternate in the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) since 2017. Member of several Scientific and Organizing Committees of various national and international scientific events. Member of the Board of the Portuguese Association of Occupational Therapists since 2013.
Currently works full-time as a guest adjunct professor at the Leiria School of Health Sciences, with collaborations in several TeSP’s, in the Occupational Therapy degree and in the Master degree in Hand Therapy.
